Movie quiz tournament winner?

Sil was the champion of my movie trivia contest in the month of June. Thanks to all participants and also thanks to Xena who made the cool trophy above. I certainly had a lot of fun there! The movie quiz tool will remain open for players to practice but not tournament is running at the moment

I am back although I feel I still need some renewal lol anyway while I was on hiatus I spent some time in BlogShares and advanced quite a bit in its ranking (currently in position 29 overall) . Believe me, this game is a lot of fun! you should try (click here if you want to join). I have my own community in a Corporation called The Bar ;) and below one of the jokes coming from there:
Speechless Joke
A farmer named Seamus had a car accident.
In court, the lorry company's hot-shot solicitor was questioning Seamus.
'Didn't you say to the Police at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine?' asked the solicitor.
Seamus responded: 'Well, I'll tell you what happened. I had just loaded my favorite cow, Bessie, into the...'
'I didn't ask for any details', the solicitor interrupted. 'Just answer the question. Did you not say, at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine!'?'
Seamus said, 'Well, I had just got Bessie into the trailer and I was driving down the road....'
The solicitor interrupted again and said, 'Your Honour, I am trying to establish the fact that, at the scene of the accident, this man told the police on the scene that he was fine. Now several weeks after the accident, he is trying to sue my client. I believe he is a fraud. Please tell him to simply answer the question.'
By this time, the Judge was fairly interested in Seamus's answer and said to the solicitor: 'I'd like to hear what he has to say about his favourite cow, Bessie'.
Seamus thanked the Judge and proceeded.
'Well as I was saying, I had just loaded Bessie, my favourite cow, into the trailer and was driving her down the road when this huge lorry and trailer came through a stop sign and hit my trailer right in the side. I was thrown into one ditch and Bessie was thrown into the other. I was hurt, very bad like, and didn't want to move. However, I could hear old Bessie moaning and groaning. I knew she was in terrible shape just by her groans. Shortly after the accident, a policeman on a motorbike turned up. He could hear Bessie moaning and groaning so he went over to her. After he looked at her, and saw her condition, he took out his gun and shot her between the eyes.
Then the policeman came across the road, gun still in hand, looked at me, and said, 'How are you feeling?'

'Now what the F*ck would you say?' LOL

My own movie trivia tournament!

I just created my own movie trivia/quiz tournament, you only has to spend around a minute a day to answer 10 questions, this month is for warming up to compete for a beautiful trophy, designed by the talented Xena, on the month of June which will be personalized with your name. It is almost Friday here in Devil's land so here we go with a movie related joke:

For the first time in many years, an old man travelled from his rural town to the city to attend a movie. After buying his ticket, he stopped at the concession stand to purchase some popcorn. Handing the attendant $2.50, he couldn't help but comment, "The last time I came to the movies, popcorn was only 15 cents." "Well, sir," the attendant replied with a grin, "You're really going to enjoy yourself. We have sound now." lol

Oh yeah! BlogShares (B$) is my current Internet game :), I am really hooked into it lol. For the ones who do not know or know little, B$ is a popular Internet game since 2003 and it is about a fantasy market of blogs using fictional money (B$) . Every thing started when my Space got deleted and I needed to build it again and because the blogs in B$ are valued by their incoming links from other known blogs I decided to use B$ to measure it how I was doing in the rebuilding, but I found other angles of the game also very entertaining to the point that I am recommending it here to every one to try. If you loved the movie "Wall Street" as I did , this game has all the components plus more a lot more ;). It has a free option which can be upgraded to a Premium account later if you wish, to join in, just click here.

As a free member you get 20 transactions a day, B$ 500 and able to claim your own blog and own 1000 out of 5000 public shares (You issue more shares if you want to). Be warned that you can only have one B$ account and being in breach of this is a serious offence to the game and can get you expelled.

I have been playing since the beginning of December 2007 and I have some fictional cash to give away to my Space friends if you are willing to have a go here and also links in their Space to mine (http://carloscoolcorner.spaces.live.com) in one of your list (no HTML module) and let me know here in a comment leaving your B$ ID, then I will transfer you B$ 50 million which is 10000 X times more of what you initially receive so you have more money to play :).
